1. Who we are and what this agreement covers

Quinta da Regaleira Tickets is an independent booking concierge service. These Terms form the agreement between you (“you”, “the customer”) and us when you place an order on this website. By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.

Important: we are not Fundação Cultursintra F.P., the official operator of Quinta da Regaleira. We do not own or run the attraction. We are an independent concierge service that purchases tickets from Fundação Cultursintra F.P. on your behalf and handles the admin so you can travel with less friction.

2. What we do

When you place an order:

  1. We take your booking details and payment.
  2. We purchase the corresponding ticket from Fundação Cultursintra F.P. on your behalf.
  3. We email you your ticket (mobile voucher or PDF) along with meeting-point details and visitor tips.
  4. We handle any questions you have by email, before and during your visit.

The price you pay includes the attraction ticket plus our concierge service fee.

3. Price, currency, and payment

  • Prices on the site are shown and charged in your detected local currency. What you see is what you pay — there is no separate booking fee, and no bank-FX surprise on your statement.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • We absorb all foreign-exchange and processing fees — the headline price is the total price.
  • Rounding: displayed prices are whole-unit amounts (no decimals). If you book in a currency with traditional minor units, we round up to the next whole unit and that is the exact amount charged.

4. Your ticket and delivery

  • We send your ticket to the email address you provided at checkout, usually within minutes and always within 24 hours of your booking.
  • The ticket is valid only for the date and time slot you booked. Late arrival may mean you miss your entry and are not permitted to enter — this is Fundação Cultursintra F.P.’s rule, not ours, and we cannot override it.
  • If you do not receive your ticket, please check your spam folder first, then email us. We will locate your order from your name or payment reference and re-send.
  • Some operators require ID verification on entry. Where applicable we will tell you so in advance; you are responsible for bringing valid ID.

5. Cancellation and refunds

As a rule, all sales are final — timed-entry attraction tickets cannot be resold by us if you cancel. There are specific named exceptions where we do refund in full. See our Refund policy for the complete list.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate contact details — we can't deliver your ticket to a wrong email address.
  • Arrive on time at your booked slot. We recommend 10–15 minutes before.
  • Comply with Fundação Cultursintra F.P.'s on-site rules (dress code, photography rules, bag policy, etc.). We communicate these in your confirmation email; the operator may update them without notice.
  • Bring valid ID if the operator requires it for your ticket class.

7. What we are not responsible for

We are a booking intermediary. Our responsibility is limited to arranging the ticket you ordered. We are not responsible for:

  • Travel to and from the attraction (flights, trains, taxis, parking).
  • Attraction closures, capacity changes, rule changes, or service disruptions imposed by Fundação Cultursintra F.P. or local authorities after your booking.
  • Personal injury, lost belongings, or medical events at the attraction.
  • Weather, strikes, public-holiday closures, or acts of God.
  • Late arrival by you or your travelling companions.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with your booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses (for example, accommodation costs, flight changes, missed connections, or emotional distress).

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Australian Consumer Law or the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, images, layout, branding — is owned by or licensed to Quinta da Regaleira Tickets. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission. Attraction photography may be credited to third-party photographers; see the footer for attribution.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the law, our processors, or our service. The “last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes that affect an order already placed will apply only to bookings made after the change.

11. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute not resolved by negotiation between us will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts, provided that nothing in this clause prevents you from bringing a claim in the courts of your own country of residence if the mandatory consumer-protection laws of that country require it.

12. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms continues to apply. The unenforceable part will be replaced with the closest enforceable equivalent.
